ABOUT ME

 

Hi foodies! My name is Destiny and I’m 26 years old. My birthday is April 24th, yes I’m a Taurus! We’re the best, of course! Lol. I’m from A Small town called Aiken, South Carolina. I moved to Atlanta at the age of 11 years old and I’ve resided here ever since. As a child, I used to watch my grandma cook every Sunday. She's a big inspiration for me starting my culinary journey and most of my soul food recipes come from her! My love for cooking began in highschool. My mom was out of town working a lot as a travel nurse so i was left to feed and cook for me and my siblings. It was definitely a learning experience, I almost burnt the house down a few times! Lol I’m kidding. I love trying new recipes and being versatile in the kitchen. Cooking is my happy place. It brings me so much peace and it means so much to me that I can inspire others with my tasteful meals. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do!
