Cheesesteak Breadsticks

This Cheesesteak Bread takes everything you love about the sandwich. Juicy, seasoned steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and layers of melty provolone and mozzarella and wraps it all up inside soft pizza dough brushed generously with garlic butter.

Ingredients

Breadsticks

  • 13.8 oz canned pizza crust
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 stick salted butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 15 oz Steak-umms or shaved beef
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 small bell pepper diced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning

Dipping Sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sriracha sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Sauté onion and bell pepper over low-medium heat for 5 minutes. Add steak, break apart, and cook until done. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Remove from heat and mix in provolone until melted.
  • Melt butter and mix with garlic and parsley.
  • Roll pizza dough into a rectangle. Brush half the garlic butter on dough. Add cheesesteak mixture to one side and sprinkle with half the mozzarella. Fold dough over to seal.
  • Brush remaining butter on top, lightly score into strips, add remaining mozzarella, and bake 15–20 minutes until golden.
  • Mix mayo and sriracha for dipping. Slice, serve, and enjoy
